Danilo D'Alessio (born in 1973) lives in Salerno, Italy. Graduated in Media and Communication, he is a visual artist who also works as a music journalist and deejay. His strong passion for music is often a relevant part of his art.

His ironic method - which is a tribute to Tristan Tzara actually - to make Scannart is the following…

" Take some objects, some body parts or even parts of important art works accurately cut and put them in a bag. Shake with care.

Take out as many pieces as you like… put them on the scanner one after the other in the order in which they left the bag.

Scan unconscientiously.

Scannography will surprise you…"
