I was born in Belem, state of Para, Brazil. I live in Brasilia, Capital of Brazil, since 35 years. I am graduated in Art School and in Law at the University of Brasilia. I am an attorney without cause. I am a painter, poetess, narrator and I like to work on drawings and creations done with a computer.
My scanner work tries to reveal the feminine world. I work with jewels and ornaments, veils, silks and women's clothes. I also insert metal in my images. Metal is symbolising the oppression from which women suffer like : chains, keys, padlocks.
The seduction that women provoke on men doesn't get them out of their prison. The context of my Art is : seduction and oppression, mystery, holiness and mischief, transparency and obscurity. The contrast between silk and metal, and the sensuality of both.
I also like the humor of cartoons and have created a serie called "once upon a time…" where I play with the relations men-women by transposing them in ancient fairy tails.
