In the Summer of 2010, I stumbled into an unexpected and delightful medium - scannography. If you are a scannographer, then you are a collector of new and old objects. The joy of collecting has allowed me to bring together my love for both the two and three dimensional design. My process is short and simple. I start off with a story line. I assemble mini, temporary constructed scenes on the scanner. After I am satisfied with that one image, I bring it into Photoshop for some light touch-ups. I am limited to an 8.5"x11" live area on the scanner. This is both a challenge and a joy for me. I enjoy experimenting with light, movement, liquids, depth of field, colors, layers, so forth and so on.
